Meet Robert “Bob” Ford. The third of the Ford brothers currently running Ford’s Hometown Services. Bob is the Vice President of the Termite Department and also specializes in bat, bird and mouse exclusions.
For those of you who haven’t heard, Bob Ford is the Hometown Hero! While working a bat job in 2009, Bob and Leo Dupont heard a woman screaming for help. When they saw where the screaming was coming from, Bob could see a fox hanging by its teeth from a women’s arm. Off like a bullet, Bob ran to help while Leo called the police. After punting the fox away from the woman she was able to get to safety, but Bob was now his target. The rabid fox chased Bob onto a car and relentlessly snapped his jaws latching onto his leg. The fox was kicked 3 or 4 times in the head and still came after him. Finally the police came and put the rabid fox down. The woman was injured badly but recovered and both of them had to receive rabies shots.
When he isn’t rescuing damsels in distress, Bob enjoys surfing, skiing, skydiving his dog Coldwater and riding his Harley’s.
