Leaf Spot disease

Lawn Alert! Leaf Spot

Light rains, humidity, and fluctuating temperatures can produce an almost overnight disease called Leaf Spot, also known as “melting out.” The symptoms are yellowing, straw-colored, irregular small or large round patches. This can sometimes make homeowners think they have grubs or an insect problem in the lawn.

If your lawn is experiencing these symptoms, we recommend applying a fungicide as soon as you see these signs. Unfortunately, this disease is slow to heal, but the plant should return to its healthy color within a few weeks.

If your lawn is looking less than green, or you just don't want to lug those heavy bags anymore, please call our office at (774) 418-4908 and dial Ext. 105 for our lawn department. It's time to kiss your bad grass goodbye!
